Cosmic Play Grid runs tournament registration, player auctions and live scoring for local sport. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It is written to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

Account: your mobile number (for sign-in codes) and name.
Player profile: photo, city, sports, playing roles, bio, availability and anything else you add.
Sport records: registrations, auction results, match events, scores, statistics and awards.
Payments: amount, purpose and the payment reference from Razorpay. We never see or store card, UPI PIN or bank login details.
Device: notification tokens if you turn alerts on, and basic logs (IP address, browser, app version) for security.
Usage statistics: which pages are visited, app installs and checkout steps, counted by our own servers with no cookies and no third-party trackers. We store a random device ID in hashed form, never your IP address. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, we keep no ID at all.

Why we use it

To sign you in, run tournaments you join or organize, and show scores and stats.
To send alerts you ask for: match starts, approvals, results and plan reminders, by app, browser, SMS or WhatsApp.
To process payments, issue GST invoices and prevent fraud.

What is public

Tournament pages, fixtures, scores, squads, player cards and rankings are public so fans can follow along. You can hide your player profile from search in your profile settings. Your phone number is never shown publicly. Organizers of a tournament you register for can see your phone number to contact you.

Who we share with

Only the processors that run the service: hosting, Razorpay for payments, SMS and WhatsApp providers for messages, and Apple and Google for app notifications. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account is open. Usage statistics are deleted after 13 months. Invoices and payment records are kept for 8 years as tax law requires. Match records stay with the tournament, without your name, after you delete your account.

Your rights

See and correct your data in your profile at any time.
Delete your account from the Me screen in the app or your profile on the website.
Withdraw consent for alerts by turning them off.
Raise a grievance with our grievance officer (Grievance officer to be named) at support@cosmicplaygrid.com. We reply within 30 days.

Children

Players under 18 need a parent or guardian to create or approve their profile. We do not show ads targeted at children.
